PayKiosks Internet Terminals is launching a network of WiFi enabled public access Internet terminals throughout North America via an innovative distributorship program. These terminals offer high-speed Internet access to customers for a small fee payable by cash or credit card. In addition, each terminal creates a wireless (WiFi) hotspot that can be accessed by customers with wirelessly enabled laptops or PDA's. In order to economically and efficiently install large scale wireless networks PayKiosks employs either Powerline or CableLAN technology. These products enable the wireless network to be installed using a hotel's existing electrical or coaxial (TV) cable as the wired "backbone" of a wireless network.
The real benefit of the Powerline and CableLAN technology is that it allows for an "impact free" installation. "We don't need to cut holes in drywall or ceilings to run 1000's of feet of Ethernet cable.
